JOBS
Do you love working with kids? If so, we want to hear from you!
Au Pair Me Up helps families find au pairs, nannies and babysitters. We have multiple jobs on offer with families of all shapes and sizes, ranging from part-time to full-time, live-in or live-out and in various cities of Australia. Once you finish your time with one family we may even be able to find you work in the next city you are travelling to! Whether you are travelling alone or with a friend or not travelling at all, we want to hear from you!
At Au Pair Me Up, we understand the many perils that can come with trying to secure work in the alternative child care sector. Our aim is to transform the perception of alternative child care from a hobby job to a profession. If you have a genuine passion for children, then we can help you find consistent work whilst providing you with all the training, support and tools that you need. Whether you have lots of experience or next to none, we'd still love to hear from you.

HOW IT WORKS
To give you the best possible chance of finding a suitable job with a family, we need you to complete this easy 3 step process:

-
Fill in the online application form, attaching your resume and photo.
-
Complete the psychometric test that we then send to you. This test is specifically designed to ensure that the candidates we present to families have the necessary attributes to be an au pair, nanny or babysitter. There are no right or wrong answers - it is just to tell us a bit about who you are. It should take less than 20 minutes to complete.
-
Send a copy of any other certifications you have such as a Blue Card, police clearance check, first aid certificate or childcare qualifications to info@aupairmeup.com.

After you have completed these steps we will conduct a phone interview with you and determine the best family to place you with.
-
We will help find you the best possible family, matched according to your experience, skills, preferences and needs
-
Provide you with a basic on-line training course and certification to ensure you know the basics of becoming an au pair or nanny
-
Help you get additional casual nanny work (in addition to your primary job) if you like and if your hours allow it
-
Give you references when you look for your next job
-
Help you find another family in any city in Australia after you have completed your time with the first family (providing the original family was happy with you)
-
Provide you with an advocacy service during your time as an au pair, ensuring that your working conditions are fair and that you don't get exploited
-
Reimburse your Police Check, Psychometric Test and Working With Children Card fees (conditions apply)
