Unlike a nanny who looks after your children on a regular basis, our babysitters are there for you for all those unpredictable moments in life - whether that is the odd party you want to attend or the occasional emergency that crops up every now and then. Since these events are quite often on short notice, it can be very difficult for parents to adequately screen someone beforehand.

Au Pair Me Up does all the work behind the scenes before you even call us up. All our babysitters have a blue card and have already undergone psychometric tests, police checks, first aid training and reference checks. Our aim is to make the process as easy as possible for you.

HOW IT WORKS
We have babysitters that are able to work at any time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. While we do our best to meet demand in most major cities in Australia, our service is, of course, subject to availability.

Subject to availability, it is possible to book AuPairMeUp's babysitters with less than one hour's notice! We offer this service because we understand that not every moment in life can be planned a week in advance. Obviously, the more notice you give us then the easier it is for us to cater to your needs.
Our babysitters cost $27 per hour between 6am and 10pm or $31 per hour between 10pm and 6am. If you give us less than 3 hours notice there is also a $50 surcharge. Au Pair Me Up's babysitting service is designed to cater for once-off occasions or emergencies. If you would like regular help (for example, every second Friday night), you will find our nanny service more affordable.
